The 2014 Nissan Versa Note, which goes on sale this month at Nissan dealers nationwide,

The Versa Note is fourth all-new product to appear in Nissan showrooms in recent months – following the redesigns of Altima, Pathfinder and Sentra.

Nissan declared that the dynamic new styling, interior versatility and advanced technology of the Versa Note hatchback are expected to strengthen Nissan’s leadership in this critical segment of the U.S. car market.

The all-new Versa Note will start with an MSRP of $13,990 USD for the S – which is $680 USD less than the outgoing Versa Hatch S M/T.

Fuel economy for the front-wheel drive Versa Note is 40 mpg highway, 31 mpg city and 35 mpg combined for CVT-equipped models.

The all-new Versa Note is offered in three grade levels: S, S Plus and SV, with available SV Convenience Package, SL Package and SL Tech Package.

Each is equipped with a 1.6-liter DOHC 4-cylinder engine with dual fuel injection and Twin CVTCS (Continuously Variable Timing Control System). The Versa Note S features a 5-speed manual transmission, while the S Plus and SV models are equipped with a standard next-generation Nissan Xtronic CVT transmission.

The list of available equipment includes Nissan Intelligent Key, Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System, SiriusXM Satellite Radio (SiriusXM subscription required, sold separately), heated front seats, heated outside mirrors and 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheels.

Four optional packages are offered: SV Convenience Package ($540 USD), SL Package ($1,700 USD), Sport Value Package ($760 USD) and SL Tech Package ($800 USD).
