During a recent Chevrolet-sponsored Facebook discussion for the 2016 Chevy Volt it was learned the premier “LTZ” version will have a starting price of $38,345 including $825 destination and this has since been confirmed.

There is no press release to go with the news, but the media rep for the $33,995 price announcement for the base LT model, Michelle Malcho, said the $4,350 up-charge for the more fully equipped model is official.

The 2016 Volt starts at $33,995 for the LT and the LTZ adds a sizable list of extra features.

Extras include Forward Collision Alert, Lane Keep Assist, Front Automatic Braking, Following Distance Indicator, Intellibeam headlights, heated Heated driver and front and rear passenger seats/heated steering wheel, and more.
