Mitsubishi will show off a new all-electric compact crossover concept at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show.

Called the Mitsubishi eX Concept, the crossover blends the looks of the brand’s “dynamic shield” front end with Mitsubishi’s twin-motor all-electric powertrain that drives all four wheels using the brands S-AWC system.

The Japanese automaker says that the eX Concept packs the latest in “automated driving technologies, connected car technologies, and active safety technologies.” Thanks to new high-output electric motors which are light and more efficient, this crossover can travel 250 miles on a single charge.

Technology is packed into this concept, with uses augmented reality technology displayed on the windshield to relay messages such as directions or lane departure to the driver. An artificial intelligence function in the display screen is also included which will learn about your habits and hobbies and make suggestions to you based on those as you drive.

Mitsubishi will also display its Outlander PHEV along with the Baja Portalegre 500 Outlander PHEV rally car and a customer wrapped i-MiEV which celebrates 50 years of Mitsubishi electrified cars with a custom wrap.
