Ahead of its scheduled March 1 world debut in Geneva, Lexus is showing a few photos of its LC 500h hybrid luxury coupe.

Based on the conventionally powered LC revealed at the 2016 North American International Auto Show, few details are being divulged about the Lexus Multi Stage Hybrid System, but it is likely to be a fire breather.

Under the hood of the conventional LC is a 467-horsepower 5.0 liter V8 good for 0-60 in under 4.5 seconds via the 10-speed rear-wheel-drive layout. Lexus typically installs CVT transmissions in its hybrids, and not stated is whether a downsized engine might be utilized or this car may even have more gas-plus-electric go-power as Lexus has done before.

Otherwise, the “flagship” LC hybrid and conventional models are production models based on inspiration from the LF-LC concept showing 2012 in Geneva.

Lexus says the LC represents a shift in its engineering processes and design ideologies, and signals a new phase for the brand.

No word on pricing or production timeline are being disclosed at this juncture. More details will be given March 1 at 11:30 CET at the Geneva Motor Show.
