Nissan Canada reported its best September on record with sales of 8,564 units in Canada, an increase of 39 percent from the same month last year.

Calendar year-to-date sales are up 6.3 percent with 68,984 units sold as of month end.

36 Nissan Leaf were sold in September 2013, representing an increase of 125 percent compared with September 2012. This brings the year-to-date sales of the Leaf EV at 382, a 94.9 percent increase in comparison with the same period last year.

Nissan division sales totaled 7,688 deliveries, up 41.6 percent with the ever-popular Nissan Rogue setting a September sales record with 1,526 units sold, up 72.6 percent.

The Infiniti division reported best-ever September sales with 876 deliveries, an increase of 19.8 percent over 2012.

“Both the Nissan and Infiniti line-ups continue to resonate with Canadian consumers. As a result, we have achieved seven consecutive months of over 8,000 units sold and reported our best-ever sales for September,” said Christian Meunier, President, Nissan Canada Inc.
