Kia has made the new Niro crossover the star of its Super Bowl ad.

Teaming up with actress Melissa McCarthy, the Korean automaker shows off various scenarios and on how hard it is to be an “eco-warrior.” But then it goes on to say it’s easy to drive like one with the Niro hybrid which ranges from 43-50 mpg combined, depending on trim.

McCarthy goes through it all in the commercial, from trying to save whales to trees, ice caps to rhinos. Each mission leads to personal disaster, with Kia showing that it can be a lot less painful trying to save the environment by driving a Niro.

Of course the commercial is all the better set to Bonnie Tyler’s “Holding Out for a Hero.”
