Chinese auto giant Zhejiang Geely Holding Group’s startup brand Lynk & CO just revealed its second vehicle, the O3 concept compact sedan.

Lynk & CO is showing the hybrid concept car this week at the Shanghai auto show.

It’s being displayed with Link’s 01 crossover, which was introduced as a concept vehicle in October in Berlin. The 01 is planned to come out before the 03, with a 2019 launch to global markets.

The 01 will be powered by a 1.5-liter, three-cylinder gasoline engine joined with an electric motor. A plug-in hybrid version of the 03 concept is expected to be revealed later and will likely share the same electric drive train being used in the upcoming Volvo XC40.

The PHEV will be built on the compact modular architecture that Volvo developed with Lynk & CO, according to sources. Geely owns both Volvo and Lynk & CO.

The company also hawked the tech features and perks coming out with the 01 and 03. Link customers can buy their cars online and receive a home delivery. There will also be a subscription model available, implying a carsharing option.

“We will bring a unique offer of connected mobility, with the option to share your car, where everything is included. The key to everything we do is simplicity,” Alain Visser, senior vice president of Lynk & CO, told Automotive News.

Lifetime warranties and free connectivity are other perks being pitched as standard features on the 01 and 03. One of the new technology features includes a dashboard button that will facilitate renting out to other users under the carsharing model.

Lynk & CO is ready to compete with Nissan for sales of the 01, going head on against the Nissan Qashqai overseas and its U.S. version, the Nissan Rogue Sport.

As you can see in the photo gallery, the O3 will be set to compete with compact sedans with emphasis being placed on interior tech features.
