where is the VTC oil pressure unit on the 2nd-gen Civic Hybrid?

I have a 2nd-gen Civic Hybrid ('08). It is showing signs of a plugged VTC: it shudders if you floor the gas, but can get up-to highway speed OK if you are verrrry gentle on the accelerator.

I've seen videos about cleaning the VTC, like this:

at 1 minute 50 seconds.

But my engine looks different from the regular civic, and I didn't see the VTC at the "normal" spot (back-side of engine, far-left/passenger).
