Who knows about swapping from CVT to Manual Transmission? 03 Civic Hybrid.

Forgive me I am new to the site. I don't know that this has been discussed. I just bought at 03 Civic. I know the transmission was bad. Only clicks. Same in PRND. I was wondering if anyone has done the manual trans swap over? What are the hurdles and troubles? I am looking for first hand information. Thank You Doug.

Well since no one answered. I dove in. I would say it would be cheaper to buy a donor car than to buy each piece individually. List of needed parts. Manual transmission, Transmission mounts to the cradle, Clutch and brake pedal assemblies, Slave cylinder, Center console with shift cables, Axle shafts, ECU, Engine wiring harness, DASH WIRING HARNESS, and Steering column. I have reasons for each part. But that would take some explaining. Parts shipping fuel totals $1200
All the work was done myself except programing the Security code into the ECU. The car was completely gutted.
