What this country really
What this country really needs is a fuel-efficient, small sedan for the cash-strapped middle-to-lower classes, so we can just reliably get to work and back. We don't need to LIVE in the car or entertain ourselves, and we usually know where we are going so we don't really need all the GPS crapola or OnStar, etc, just a good reliable and safe fuel-efficient mode of getting here and there. And priced so we can actually afford it! Because we are likely to keep it a good long time and retire it when it is totally pooped out rather than trade it in, because we HATE to deal with cars: buying cars and repairing cars and fixing cars and trying to function without a car! Give the Common Person a REAL CHOICE! Most of the new cars seem to be vying for the most bells and whistles, the newest fangles, the most expensive suite of features. There has GOT to be an affordable alternative, easy on the gas (or gas-less!), for the Future, or you won't be selling many cars. To sell to the masses, give them what they really need, not what they have been TOLD to want. And no one NEEDS a 6-cylinder gas-guzzler with a luxury package. Seriously!
