Nissan revealed U.S. pricing for its compact van, the 2014 Nissan NV200.

Introduced in spring 2013, the NV200 combines the benefits of a small exterior footprint and a large cargo bay.

Nissan said the NV200 has been embraced by fleet and small business owners for its low projected total cost of ownership combined with maximum efficiency and utility.

The NV200 is currently in use in more than 40 countries worldwide and is utilized as the platform for the NV200 Taxi as well.

An electric version of this van powered by many of the powertrain components of the Nissan Leaf, will soon launch.

In cargo guise, the NV200 is offered in two grades: S and SV, along with a number of option packages that allow buyers to create the exact vehicle for their specific business needs.

MSRP for the 2014 version of the NV200 are as follow, with destination and handling fees of $860:

Nissan NV200 S: $20,240 USD

Nissan NV200 SV: $21,230 USD

The 2014 NV200 is powered through the front-wheels by a 131 horsepower 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder engine. Fuel economy is rated at 24 mpg city, 25 mpg highway and 24 mpg combined.
