GM should pick up all the dealers that "hate" the Volt and all the dealers that "love" the Volt. Post them online and let people choose with their money.

Once those "stupid" dealers lose enough business, they can go out of business for all I care...

Most people are completely unaware of how purple Californai really is. The blue California is confined to a lot of coastal areas and naturally LA and the SF Bay Area. Much of CA is as red as Texas. So this shouldn't come as a surprise.

The Leaf story is amazing. Nissan is now firmly standing behind the opinion that loosing 25% of your range in the first year is perfectly normal.

This is after their 100 miles range turns out to be only 72 miles in real life. Apart from the hot weather issues there are cold weather issues. My one month old Leaf could only do 55 miles in the winter. So after one year and loosing 25% battery capacity which apparently is absolutely normal I should expect to have a range of 42 miles.

That is clearly the case. There is a large amount of anecdotal evidence that some dealers are just basically refusing to sell the car, and many salespeople actively turn customers away.

I have not purchased a Volt yet, but I've test driven one. A had a pretty long talk with one salesman and it was quite interesting. He said there were a lot conservative salesmen who don't want to push sales of the Volt for political reasons. Also, it was his opinion that a majority of people in car sales are conservative.

When it becomes commonplace for Chevy dealers and salesmen to piss on their OWN BRAND it's obvious something dysfunctional is going on with the Republican party. I'm soooo NOT regretting my decision to stop voting for Republicans. Keep it up Republicans and you'll lose more voters like you've lost me.

Well, some of those dealers are owned by Politically motivated owners who hate just about all the ideas that have anything to do with environment or "green". GM should have "fired" those dealers anyway.

I think if the Chevy Dealers actually know what they are doing and sales staff actually know how Volt work, they would have sold FAR MORE Volt...
