Saturn Hybrids

Are any of you concerned with the fact that the Saturn body is not sheet metal?
It is fiber glass, right?
Isn't that dangerous in case of a crash?
How does the company explains this potential problem?

Seems calls to Saturn have prompted the following letter that all Saturn Vue Hybrid Owners will be receiving. I received my letter yesterday.
Dear Saturn Customer:
We have learner that on your 2007 Saturn VUE Green Line vehicle
I found a video review about the Saturn Aura Greenline. Seems the term "Hybrid" is being used loosely these days! Looks like the Aura only gets like 23 mpg! Is that right?

I can't figure for the life of me, why someone would purchase a vehicle that cannot run on electric alone. Can some one please fill me in! Also how are these even considered hybrids?
Selling points:

disadvantages:
this car is a "mild" hybrid...the car cannot be propelled by the electric motor alone. Of course the electric motor augments the gas motor wh
28 mpg is not bad for a 4 cyl family sedan. the 4 cyl camry or accords are 21mpg in city driving (new epa numbers). That means the aura is a 33% increase in fuel economy over its popular rivals.
price 22,600-1300 tax credit=$21,300 not expensive f
So the Greenline isn't perfect. It still saves gas and isn't expensive compared to the "regular" Vue. Anyone thinking about one or waiting until the 08's?
