It’s well known that Verizon Wireless and Motorola Mobility, Inc. has announced the second-generation Droid X2, designed for the consumer who does everything on their smart phone. It is a new addition to Verizon’s Droid series. The Android based Droid X2 by Motorola joins Verizon’s Droid Blue eye series. The fifth in the series of iPhones, Apple iPhone 5 will be more popular smart phone than iPhone 4 and it created a lot of flutter with its style and designing.

Does anyone know of any reputable forecasts for how much purchases of hybrid vehicles will increase over the next 5 to 7 years? Specifically, broken out by the higher fuel efficient hybrids (over 30 to 35 mpg) and the lower fuel efficient hybrids, generally the SUVs (under 30mpg)?

There is an impeding shortage of many rare materials used in the manufacture of hybrid cars .For example the rare earth element dysprosium is required to fabricate many of the advanced electric motors and battery systems in hybrid propulsion systems .

Has anyone heard of Zero-Gas-Car.com? They have an $11,000 two seater that will do 60+ MPH.... or so they say. Looks a little funny but I watned to see if anyone knows anything about them.
