PV prices are dropping like a lead balloon and more people will be able to afford solar to charge their car batteries, and when the cars are not charging, that extra power can be put into batteries to charge the house or charge the car when there is no sunshine or there is a blackout. This will not only break us away from foreign oil, but also break us away from overly greedy utility companies. I see that as a win win for us all – great and small, but especially for all us small people around the world.

Just like Solar PV prices have gone down by 80% in the last 3 years, expect the price of battery to go down.

There will not be glut, since the EVs, Plugins and Hybrids will absorb the Lithium batteries.
