I'm considering the Aura Hybrid...

Selling points:

one of the lowest prices on the market
$1300 tax credit
drives well

disadvantages:
this car is a "mild" hybrid...the car cannot be propelled by the electric motor alone. Of course the electric motor augments the gas motor when needed. The only true hybrid ability is that the gas engine shuts off only while you are at a dead stop, the gas engine turns back on when your foot comes off the brake.

I haven't found any info on the 2008 aura hybrid. GM plans on making the 2008 vue a true 2 mode hybrid, so hopefully they'll do the same with the aura...
