Hybrids with E85 capability?

Does anyone out there know if any of the auto makers are developing the ability to combine hybrid technology with E85 fuel? Up here in Minnesota, we're seeing a big push for E85 (85% ethanol/15% gasoline) vehicles. Imagine getting 50 mpg while using 15% gasoline - bye bye oil dependency!

E85 is not a bad idea, and will probably be needed for a stop-gap measure. However, producing and burning ethanol will still produce CO, NOx and CO2 and worsen global warming.
The ultimate goal is still increasing mpgs, no matter which fuel we're burning.
Someone else in here has asked that same question not too long ago.
Ford has developed an E85 Escape Hybrid that it plans on putting into production sometime soon.
The problem, up to now, is something to do with the vapour pressure of the ethanol fuel and how the it is maintained in the fuel tank when the engine is off.
I don't know all the details, but I'm sure it's Google-able!
