Nissan announced U.S. pricing for the 2015 Versa Note hatchback, which is now on sale at Nissan dealers nationwide.
The base Versa Note 1.6 S starts at $14,180 for 2015, a hike of $190 from 2014 model-year prices.
Nissan’s Versa Note enters its second year of production with a number of enhancements: Nissan has added the Versa Note SR (pictured) and Versa Note SL trim levels.
Following these two additions, there are now a total of five models: S, S Plus, SV, SR and SL.
Nissan explained the new 2015 Versa Note SR offers a number of exterior and interior treatments, including sporty front and rear fascias and grille, dark headlight surrounds, fog lights, rear spoiler, suede-like seats and 16-inch sport aluminum-alloy wheels.
Nissan also explained the 2015 Versa Note SL features NissanConnect with Mobile Apps, 5.0-inch color display, RearView Monitor, heated front seats, Divide-N-Hide Adjustable Floor and 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheels.
In addition to these two new trim levels, Nissan said the Versa Note S model receives new standard features such as Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System; the Versa Note’s optional equipment packages also offer new or revised content for 2015.
The U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices (MSRP) for the 2015 Nissan Versa Note models are as follow (with the difference in comparison to 2014):
Versa Note 1.6 S 5MT $14,180 USD (+ $190)
Versa Note 1.6 S Plus Xtronic $15,430 USD (+ $190)
Versa Note 1.6 SV Xtronic $16,330 USD (+ $340)
Versa Note 1.6 SR Xtronic $17,530 USD (new model)
Versa Note 1.6 SL Xtronic $17,960 USD (new model)
The 2015 Versa Note is powered by a 1.6-liter DOHC 4-cylinder engine with dual fuel injection and Twin CVTC (Continuously Variable Timing Control). The Versa Note S has a 5-speed manual transmission, while the S Plus, SV, SR and SL models are equipped with a Nissan Xtronic transmission.
The Versa Note had a fuel economy rating of 31 mpg city and 40 mpg highway for 2014; we expect to see the same rating for 2015 model-year Versa Note.
