Act Now To Receive Free Custom Prius Badge of Honor

Published May 17, 2011

Toyota Prius Badges

Toyota Prius badges.

Since the earliest days of the Toyota Prius, the quintessential hybrid has served as a badge of honor for eco-friendly driving. Now, Toyota is commemorating the 1 million Prius owners in the United States by literally issuing badges to more than 10,000 Prius owners.

Starting today, the first 1,000 Prius owners to visit ToyotaPriusProjects.com—and supply the model year, miles driven and number of Prii owned—will receive a one-of-kind badge in the form of custom molded adhesive vehicle badge. The next 10,000 owners to visit the site will receive the badge in sticker form. After the first 11,000, everyone will get a digital badge.

HybridCars.com is one of the first places to post this message, so move fast if you want the cool vehicle badge.

The auto-generated badge artwork will reflect the CO2 emissions saved by each vehicle. The benefits of driving a hybrid—savings on gas, reduced air pollution, pitching in on energy independence—are rewards in themselves. Yet, it doesn’t hurt to stop for a moment to recognize those benefits, even at the risk of a taking a self-congratulatory pat on the back.

Wow!.......and they say nothing is free! I just completed the e-form for both of our Priuses (Prii in Toyota's terminology). We drive a '05 & a '08........51 & 49 mpg, respectively, driving the Baltimore area. Great cars, that's all there is to it.
