Volt 1gallon = 90mpge + carpool hov + sports car, no prius slow respond..

Thats way cooler than uglier Camry hybrid,.which cost almost.the same after Volt rebate.

The idea, of course, that this $40K compact car with a battery that is equally likely to fail or be superseded by superior technology should have a high residual is complete nonsense.

So the lease is likely subvented by Ally and the taxpayers are picking up the risk.

Some things never change. GM has persuaded the Feds, of course, that this is how it's done, that their finance arm makes the deals go. After all, what could possibly go wrong?

Yes you did miss something , starting with the fact that the most traded in brand by new volt owners is Toyota!

I am sure I must have missed something, but if you plunk $3000 down at signing, you can lease a 2012 Camry for about $120 per month on a 36 month lease. That is about $240 less per month than the Volt.
