I think this is going to fail. There is a great story and reply chain on http://www.gm-volt.com about this story. There is no way a company with these numbers can succeed. It appears they are destined to get some funds from the DOE and again, the DOE will lose the investment.

You want a NEV? Check into the GEM cars. They’re established and viable.

Thanks for putting a photo of the car up there. I’ve got two words for that car: “Pug Ugly”. Why do they do that? Have they ever thought about hiring a design engineer with a creative mind? My dog, Herkules, (who is a boxer) can create a better design than that. I wonder if that idiot McAuliffe is wondering why he is going belly up.

Would it had been that much trouble for you to had shown us the car? People buy nice looking cars that work good. If it doesn’t look like something that belongs in a circus with clowns crawling out of it, McAuliffe may be able to raise the money. America could use 5,000 jobs and this car may lessen the traffic jams in our cities.
