I’ll be seeing it on the New York International Auto Show and I can’t wait for it. The cars concept was nice and its incredibly better than the other Lexus cars, and having a sale of more than 2,00 units is already a big catch.

I remember that there’s a new two-motor hybrid setup debuted in L.A. Auto Show last year. (I think it was reported here in the news section.) And the company has been looking into an appropriate hybrid setup for ‘large’ vehicles for some time. I guess it is quite possible to include SUV application.

Furthermore, it was reported: “Acura is currently considering a smaller model to slot beneath the TSX. [...] the new vehicle would compete with the likes of the BMW 1-Series, Audi A3 and Volvo C30.”

I am very disappointed with Acuras non existent approach to hybrids or even diesels.
Gas prices of $3 or more are here to stay and the possibility of $5 or more gas seems only a matter of time. This customer is looking to replace both his vehicles in the next couple of years and I expect Acura won’t be getting my money even though I love their cars.
