USA has 112,500 vehicles, but as per some website, it has 250,000 vehicles. With cheaper natgas, its accelerating.

We should feel happy that atleast hybrids have 30,000 + sales every month and EVs/Plugins having another 3,000 + sales.

And YTD Hybrid sales up 61% and Plugins are 229%.

As per NADA stats, hybrid car sales have increased and is holding 5.8% share among cars, but only the hybrid trucks were down.

Anyway we dont consider the gas guzzling hybrids as good vehicles at all.

Meanwhile in Japan, Prius sold 33,398 and Aqua (Prius C) sold 26,274 units.

Overall the took a 10% plunge in July compared to June and it took even bigger hit in Europe.

Lets wait for C-Max Hybrid and Fusion Hybrid and also Mild Hybrid (Start/Stop). That should give a big boost.

Also Tesla has product 50 Model S Sedans, no idea as how much in that it has sold. It has 12,200 orders. This will get really exciting and will push other automakers to sell more.

you will see that they list the 2013 Fusion Hybrid as “coming Fall 2012.”

I know, there’s only the Honda Civic (now), but they’re ramping up prdxn w/the new model and increasing the number of states its available in and, hopefully soon, other CNG vehicles will be coming on the consumer (vs fleet) market.

Come on, hybridcars, give us some CNG love like you do w/”clean” diesels. CNGs are at least as clean as “clean” diesels…
