Well, once upon a time the discriminator would have been appearance, given that the older Civics (before they became bloated nearly mid-size sedans) looked vastly better than the Beauty-is-in-the-eye-of-the-beholder Prius.
But now look at that Civic pictured: Honda has also seemingly lost its eye for aesthetics.

This, of course, was predicted from the time the press smelled scandal potential in this woman’s little scheme and made it a national story. But it is good to see that better sense prevailed nonetheless. Way to go Judge!

She could have bought a Prius which has more space, more mileage and cost the same. Honda is never interested in the 1st place. That is why they Priced the Civic @ 24 K when a bigger better Camry is priced @ 25K.

In Japan both Civic & Civic-Hybrid is phased out.
