DC chargers will have come down in price to where you can get one for your garage.

The one issue though is whether the grid can handle the load.

Battery technology needs to improve with density increasing 3 fold (250 mile range at freeway speeds) I already see recharge stalls in office parking garages. Seeing Leafs driving around and knowing they are pure electric is an amazing step into the future if you think about it.
