Still waiting for my dream vehicle – Electric (or PHEV) Minivan. I’m so frustrated that Toyota hasn’t started selling it’s Japan-only Estima (similar to Sienna) Hybrid here.

Anyway,

HOV lanes should be for just that…high occupancy vehicles. It shouldn’t be for just promoting “tech of the day”. I’m actually all for eliminating all HOV lanes. They don’t improve traffic. They actually slow down the other lanes.

The hov is for putting more than one person in a car.

Also to promote vehicles like the volt and electric is the way to go.

So OUT hybrid. Allow electric.

I would not allow the plug in prius.

The prius has sudden acceleration that will kill other people in the lane.

I argue lets end HOV lanes because they rarely get used for what they are intended for & it is funny to see the annoyance of speeders trying to get commuter 2-4 people fulled vehicles out of their way. Lets stop being lazy and actually plan for light-rail systems instead.
