It does nothing to NOx which Diesel need to cut.

I wonder if this can be used for gas cars to lower the cost as well.

This technology should have been implemented four decades ago during the first oil glut of the 70′s. It is kind and considerate for someone to finally take this old technology off the shelf and present it to the people as “new and improved”. I hope they can finally make a couple of bucks off it.
