1) The car in the spy pic is a sedan, not a coupe. LOL.

2) Hwy speed drains electric jiuce quickly => ICE steps in and takes over; high electricity draw can also hurt the longivity of the batt.

3) Honda has said the PHEV would go on sale before the end of 2012.

No one can get to work just on battery then unless you don't break 40 miles per hour... The Plug-in Prius is bad enough with the engine coming on at highway speeds but the Accord engine coming on at 40 mph is ridiculous...

Lincoln MKZ has the best Hybrid system of Ford which did beat the Camry Hybrid with the Fusion Hybrid

If Honda is going to introduce a plugin version in a coupe, it will surely flop. The smaller plugins like Volt / Prius has lot of interior space because of the Hatch design. Sedan's dont offer this much space and Coupe are even less functional with just 2 doors. Many of Honda's hybrids like Civic-H, Accord, Insight, CR-Z has flopped and they are planning to sell this 1 also to flop. So sad they are wasting their R&D money.

So sad Honda didn't introduce these cars sooner! I just traded in my 7-year-old Honda Accord hybrid for a Lincoln MKZ hybrid. Loved the trouble free Honda. Wished for another ... but alas, no hybrid.

The Ford/ Lincoln gets great mileage, but the "fit and finish" of the MKZ interior leaves a lot to be desired!
