A “homegrown advertisement” has been posted by one Chevy Volt supporter quite unlike anything Chevrolet has yet to do.
The description for the 1:39 spot titled “Straight Outa the Grid” says it is is “made with iMovie on iPhone 6plus. Can you dig it?”
While articles have come out politely questioning the effectiveness of Chevrolet’s marketing, and its far more heavily funded advertising budget – along with its commitment in other ways – this is the kind of thing a fan thought of.
The uploader, Juventas Telsinskas, also has videos about mountain biking, and made a message reminiscent of The Matrix that perhaps offers a psychographic appeal not as corporately all-inclusive as GM would want, but maybe some lesson could be imparted?
