Canberra even has a number of Better Place charging points.

I’ve seen a couple of Mitsubishi i-MiEVs, Teslas and diy Electric Car Conversions in Canberra and this number is growing as Electric Cars are well suited for most Canberrans.

In my opinion, if Holden was smart, they would manufacture Electric Cars in Australia and lobby the government to buy them as well as export them and also push domestic sales.
