The Volt, at 2.9K, is their biggest seller but it only makes that 2.9K/month with $7.5K in Federal (and more in state) givebacks, which are due to expire when – if – they sell 200K units of EVs.

So, no. GM is not going to sell 500K EVs/year by 2017.

MIEV was 2 years old vehicles and hence it has a low 62 mile range, hope the Spark EV should be having 100 mile range. If they price it too much, people may just buy C-Max Plugin and Spark EV may go the way of Elecytric version MIEV, Fit, RAV4, Focus and so on.
