Glow-in Dark Nissan Leaf Traverses Matching Highway in Holland

If Nissan’s glow-in-the-dark Leaf is more than a photo-op, it has not said, but the latest promo done in Holland features the car on a “Smart Highway” in Oss.

Having been sprayed with Strontium Aluminate-laced paint, the stuff’s as environmentally friendly as the zero-emissions electric car.

The rare earth solid is odorless, chemically and biologically inert, and – just as important here – it matches the neato glow-in-the-dark painted lines.

Nissan says the glow effect would last 25 years if it were put into production. It could also be that perfect complement to match the Tritium dial on your glow-in-the-dark watch.
