Oil Crisis 101

By every indication, we are in the early stages of a new energy crisis—and there is no easy way out. We could do absolutely nothing and watch the situation grow increasingly dire. Or we could take the smallest of steps forward, including: downsizing our vehicle choice from SUVs to efficient cars such as hybrids and diesels; or simply driving less by carpooling, taking public transportation, riding a bicycle or walking as much as possible—despite how difficult that might be in American cities and towns designed for the automobile.
