Where are the Luxury Hybrids?

Does anyone want to speculate on why there aren't more luxury hybrids out there? Lexus seems to be the only luxury company out there that is attempting to break into this market - and there, they're not really doing it with their more exciting cars. Where are the BMWs? (3-series hybrid anyone?) Where are the Audis? Porsche?

(Maybe these vehicles are out there, and I'm just unable to find them. If so - apologies in advance for my ignorance.)

If you want a luxury car which has great mpg for its size try the mbe320cdi 27city 37highway. It is a diesel. diesel fuel is not hard to get, but not all gasstation carry diesel so check the gas stations near where you live to see if you can get diesel fuel without any problems.
