Mine isn't very creative, but I like it -- XBREED.
Ooh, nice. I had suggested HIGH MPG in a different thread a while back, and I'm happy to say that I have successfully reserved that plate in Illinois and am awaiting its arrival. That's my entry!
I had also considered 51 MPG, HALF GAS, and, to commemorate the name my girlfriend gave to my car, HYBIE. I look forward to hearing more ideas.

My plate just says GREEN, which on a silver/purple Prius is kind of funny in its own right. It was funnier when I went on an Army base, had to fill out a form identifying the vehicle, and very much confused the Sgt in charge - he thought I'd put the Color in the Lic# space.

So, if I had one of these highly sought after mobiles, I would have something to say. So far all I can say is that I am one of the many who can't wait to be a part of this movement. It is progressive, logical, and completely necessary in my opinion.
Just so you know, there is an independant film coming out soon called End of Suburbia which is supposed to talk about the oil crisis in the world. I heard it was supposed to be very informative and most-likely disturbing for those who don't take the end of oil into consideration when they are filling up their hummers.

My 2005 Green Ford Escape Hybrid (silver bumpers and lower body cladding) will have the regular Colorado License plate, Green letters on White backround & silver Mountains and will read

You may see my 2000 Honda Insight running around San Diego,with plates JETSUNZ.
On my space age vehicle.
My HIGH MPG plate arrived and I installed it last weekend. Regarding the comment about being keyed or vandalized ... yes, I do feel a little self-conscious now ... although it's similar to a political bumper sticker, really ... fortunately, all the comments I've had about the car are positive. Then again, I live in a liberal area and have cool friends. (smile)

We made the move to vanity plates when we bought our Toyota Highlander Hybrid because the Toyota marking on the back of the car is way too small and we wanted others to know we were driving a hybrid that is at least sort of easy on the gas...our Ca. plates read...LITEGAS
I was on the Toyota Higlander Hybrid waitlist for over a year so I had a lot of time to think about what I wanted. Here were some I liked:
- Mybrid
- Hy-bred (as in good breeding)
- 1CLNSUV (but it was taken here in WA)
- PC SUV (my friend thought of that one)
- 1GRNSUV
- OHM RUN (but too many people thought it was about yoga.)
- I finally chose HY-NRG because I am am a pretty high energy person myself.
I'm surprised that I didn't see GAS SVR anywhere in this discussion - my CT Insight plate since 2001 - any others out there?

This is the answer to Einstein's famous Energy equation: E=mc2, which works out to be (for 1 kg of mass) = 90 petajoules, or 90 E15 J, or in my case simplified to E= 9 E16 J, which is "9 raised to the sixteenth power in Joules". I'm in California, but have no copyrignt on any other states. :)

My husband and I just got our first Prius. Some of our plates ideas are NOTASUV, OUTAGAS, OUTAOIL, NOXON, LO CO2, CO2 BAD and the one I'm going to get, I think... GO LTLY (as in Holly and in treading lightly on the earth).

my plate for my ford escape hybrid is NIMHBUG. i really wanted UNPLUGD but someone else in michigan already has it. other choice was ROKTSHP (rocket ship)
My Prius has the plate PRIUPS, which signifies that it's a UPS, or Uninterruptible Power Supply. I use the car as an emergency power supply for my house (see www.PriUPS.com )
I also have the plate H TO HE on a different car. Alternative fuel with a vengeance!

I bought my hybrid on Sept. 2nd. It's my first new car. I am so excited about driving in my Prius. People ask me questions about it all the time. Yesterday, a guy in a large truck asked me about the MPG I get. I felt really happy. I didn't have to fill the tank until I had 348 miles on the car.
I ordered a CA license plate with a Lake Tahoe background which says "NV MYNRG."

The Canadians have 8 numbers versus Americans 7- no fair they get more choices.- Just Kidding- these are great. I dont own a Prius but i am making that purchase soon- maybe 2, one for the wife one for me. We are SUV-ers, sorry SIV-ers (SOCIALLY IRRESPONSIBLE VEHICLE). I have done many calculations and with the miles i drive a yr the Prius will pay for itself in 4.5 yrs in gas savings alone. I am also working on a closed loop system that requires few gallons of gas- for reliability, and no plug.

I am a brand-new hybrid owner, just took delivery of our Honda Civic Hybrid on 10/31/07. Our Oregon state plate that came, just randomly, is:

I don't know what to make of the "115", but the letters obviously stand for "Drinks Less Gas." Since I don't have a personalized plate, I lose by default.
I would suggest another thread, or perhaps another contest, for best license plate frame wording. Nice thing about that is that more than one hybrid in a state can have such a frame. Not-so-nice is the loss of being unique.

We just got our '08 Prius in March, and we are getting 50 - 52 mpg in the Ozarks. I like BANKIN'IT, but must have one made for the front since Arkansas only allows 7 characters on their plates.
I really liked FREEUS and NO2OPEC. Hybrid owners have out done themselves here. Great minds love the hybrid!!!
