My '04 Prius is DBL 07. It's such a James Bond-like car!

Ooh, nice. I had suggested HIGH MPG in a different thread a while back, and I'm happy to say that I have successfully reserved that plate in Illinois and am awaiting its arrival. That's my entry!

I had also considered 51 MPG, HALF GAS, and, to commemorate the name my girlfriend gave to my car, HYBIE. I look forward to hearing more ideas.

The idea was to have it read "Kay's IT" or it can also be read as "Kay zzzt" as if she is giving you a spark with her finger after scuffing her feet on a rug!

My plate just says GREEN, which on a silver/purple Prius is kind of funny in its own right. It was funnier when I went on an Army base, had to fill out a form identifying the vehicle, and very much confused the Sgt in charge - he thought I'd put the Color in the Lic# space.

I saw one, on a Prius, here in Los Angeles, from the window of my Prius that said OHMLESS. Still considering my own...

We've had our '02 Prius since 10/03 with HAF GAS on the tag. In 2/04 we got our '04 Prius and promptly put on HAF ELEC tags.
Love to leave both cars in the driveway... or the garage door open!

So, if I had one of these highly sought after mobiles, I would have something to say. So far all I can say is that I am one of the many who can't wait to be a part of this movement. It is progressive, logical, and completely necessary in my opinion.
Just so you know, there is an independant film coming out soon called End of Suburbia which is supposed to talk about the oil crisis in the world. I heard it was supposed to be very informative and most-likely disturbing for those who don't take the end of oil into consideration when they are filling up their hummers.

But she has on order H3D WG - Kinda goes with her subversive sense of humor and hybrids.

I saw a plate in the Bay Area on a Honda Civic and it said CVC DTY - Civic Duty - I thought that was clever :)

My HIGH MPG plate arrived and I installed it last weekend. Regarding the comment about being keyed or vandalized ... yes, I do feel a little self-conscious now ... although it's similar to a political bumper sticker, really ... fortunately, all the comments I've had about the car are positive. Nimrod means hunter, NiMH is the type of battery in the prius Nickel Metal Hydride. Rod is the obvious short for car.

Or it could also be miles per gallon x miles per hour. The Insight easily gets 60x60=3600, can you beat that?

We made the move to vanity plates when we bought our Toyota Highlander Hybrid because the Toyota marking on the back of the car is way too small and we wanted others to know we were driving a hybrid that is at least sort of easy on the gas...our Ca. plates read...LITEGAS

My husband and I just got our first Prius. Some of our plates ideas are NOTASUV, OUTAGAS, OUTAOIL, NOXON, LO CO2, CO2 BAD and the one I'm going to get, I think... GO LTLY (as in Holly and in treading lightly on the earth).

I ordered a 06 Prius and will be getting it soon. All the suggesions look good here. Any other ideas for a vanity plate with 7 letters (letters and numbers only) for Michigan.

My Prius has the plate PRIUPS, which signifies that it's a UPS, or Uninterruptible Power Supply. I use the car as an emergency power supply for my house (see www.PriUPS.com )

I also have the plate H TO HE on a different car. Alternative fuel with a vengeance!

The Canadians have 8 numbers versus Americans 7- no fair they get more choices.- Just Kidding- these are great. I dont own a Prius but i am making that purchase soon- maybe 2, one for the wife one for me. We are SUV-ers, sorry SIV-ers (SOCIALLY IRRESPONSIBLE VEHICLE). I have done many calculations and with the miles i drive a yr the Prius will pay for itself in 4.5 yrs in gas savings alone. I am also working on a closed loop system that requires few gallons of gas- for reliability, and no plug.

We just got our '08 Prius in March, and we are getting 50 - 52 mpg in the Ozarks. I like BANKIN'IT, but must have one made for the front since Arkansas only allows 7 characters on their plates.

I really liked FREEUS and NO2OPEC. Hybrid owners have out done themselves here. Great minds love the hybrid!!!
