used hybrid

I am interested in a used Hybrid. Any suggestions where to locate one?

hard to come by, and they sell for almost as much as a new one. besides, if you get a used one that's too old, the technology's not as good. and in 2006, you can get a tax credit for the purchase of a new one. in other words, are you sure you want a used one?

if you do, then try ebay.

it's possible to find them, if you're willing to haggle ( a lot), and go quite out of your area. i had to go 150 miles out. it's true, they are asking just as much for a new one, which is frustrating. but that's where the haggling comes in.

Don't buy a used one right now is my advice. If you can't afford or don't buy new cars, I'd say wait a few years until hybrids depreciate normally (assuming they don't stay a niche product). Besides, many people (including myself) have a hard time justifying the added cost of a hybrid, so buying a used one for the price of a new one is not a wise decision, in my opinion.
