Stablity Control Adjustment???

Ok, here's a puzzle for the computer geeks.
Talking to a cop friend about stability control. Turns out that the Ford products, including the Crown Victoria (favorite cop car) has a secret ADJUSTMENT for the Stablility control sensitivity.
The Ford mechanics can access a secret computer code and adjust the sensitivity of the stablity control system so that it does not kick on at the drop of a hat.
I love my Prius, and was not inconvenienced by it's winter handling. BUT... the stability control on mine DOES seem to be just a bit sensitive.
Can anyone find out any information about adjusting the sensitivity of the Stability Control System?
thanks
