The article about the possible Fit hybrid quotes an industry insider saying there will be a Honda Fit hybrid. However, this quoted source says

"If you take the measurement from the wheel hub to the wheel hub of the Fit and the Insight, they are the same to the millimeter."

The stats I find show that the Fit and Insight are two inches different in wheelbase, almost 5 inches different in Rear Track and .8 inches different in Front Track. Doesn't the industry insider lose credibility because of his "same to the millimeter" claim? Maybe Honda is telling the truth when they said there won't be a hybrid Fit but they are going to have an all-new hybrid.
