    08 FEH A/C Issue

We have had our FEH for almost 4 years now. Great little truck. We average about 38 mpg. Because we do a fair amount of highway driving.

I am looking for any advice or people that have had similar problems and what was the fix. The A/C on my FEH seems to have a mind of its own. The auto ac sometimes begins to blow warm air out of the passengers vents, only. This happens when, say its 80 outside and you want it around 70 inside. It will not let you maintain that 70 degree temp without blowing the warm air out of one vent. The dealer says it is normal to have a 15 degree varience. We didn't have this problem for 2 1/2 years.

Your not the first person to

Your not the first person to have this problem. More than likely it is one of the blend doors in your A/C system duct work. The problem is one of them is a lot of work to replace. These blend doors regulate mixing cold air and air from the heater core but with a malfunction they can allow to much warm air through the duct system. The '08 has separate front passenger temperature controls so the warm side blend door may be the problem. At any rate, this is not normal and your dealer knows it.
