    can run the HCH without the trunk battery ??

    hello everyone
    iam from jordan, & hybrid cars just new here.
    so there is no maintenance yet, so wanna ur advice in such cars (HCH 05) i already have civic 2001, its perfect, i love it, so y not hybrid !!!
    the main questions:
    1- if the battery ( the one in trunk) can the car move in petrol engine alone ?
    2- how much is the new & second hand battery ?
    3- what is the prices range for 2005?

    yes, car can run without IMA

    yes, car can run without IMA battery (on petrol engine only). HCH is a micro hybrid, where the petrol motor shuts off at stops, and the electric motor acts like a turbo, to help boost the vehicle without gas. The regulat 12V battery may exhibit problems, but remove the IMA fuse and you should be able to drive ok
