I am new to the Prius. I

I am new to the Prius. I have the same issue with my Chevy Metro, and it's more a pump issue than a car issue. Only happens at some pumps. As others have stated, you have to pump slower, and don't put the nozzle all the way down, which can be rough on cold Wisconsin days, because it take longer, but it works.

    I just purchased a 2009

I just purchased a 2009 prius a week ago, and it was filled up for me when I bought it, but then earlier today, it went to the last 2 dot/squares and so at the time I only put in 2 gallons worth of money, and the dots didn't even move up, and also it says the battery is half way whatever that means.

Is this normal? If it is still on 2 squares even though I filled it up a bit, can I trust that I will get the miles worth or will the car shut down when IT THINKS IT IS EMPTY ACCORDING TO THE ELECTRONIC GAGE??
