Should I get an Extended Warranty

Hey- Just bought a 2007 used Escape Hybrid with 27K clean miles on it. What's the opinion among you all on whether I should purchase an extended warranty over the factory 36K/3year standard warranty? Any major problems that you've all seen in the 2006 or 2007 model year? If it's a good idea, any experience on which of the many warranties are worth it?

I bought an '08 FEH (new) and did opt for the extended warranty. While debatable (as supposedly the vehicle comes with a full warranty for 3 years), I felt that the extra items covered (as well as extra time) was worthwhile. Plus, being a hybrid, I felt there were more things that could "go wrong".

Therefore, in my mind it's worthwhile.
