replacement radio for a 2003 HCH

My two year old thought it was a good idea to put a quarter in my CD player. That seems to have destroyed the radio/CD player. The dealer has a new one they can put in for over 1K. I've done a little web surfing to try to find a less expensive units, but the honda units I have seen for sale say "not for the hybrid." Is this because the battery under the hood is lower voltage? Does anyone know of any unit other than what I can get through the dealer that will work in the 2003 HCH? Also, none of the honda cd players I've seen have an MP3 option.
