Pure Electric Tesla Roadster delivered

On Friday, 2/1/08, Tesla Motors delivered their first production Roadster to their chief investor and Chairman of the Board.
They say they intend to build a few more test prototypes on their line before resuming full production on March 17.
We finally have a pure plug-in vehicle being manufactured.
Now that the expensive, Roadster super-car is in production, I, for one, can't wait for them to shift their design focus on their Whitestar which is rumored to be a 4-door Plug-In Hybrid Sedan in the ~$50K price range. After the Whitestar, they plan to go mass market with an affordable Plug-in sedan which should really provide us with a truly sustainable means of transportation.
