Power Button

My power button ('05 Prius) malfunctions now and again. There is no discernible pattern, but it happens once or twice every day or two. Sometimes starting, sometimes shutting down. My dealer says he hasn't had any such complaints from other oweners. Any ideas?

It took me a couple days to get used to the smart key and pushing the brake and power button in order .... it might just be timing.

Actually watching the saleman try to explain how to operate it when he delivered it was comical.

Or you have a serious problem.

I'll be at the dealer tomorrow. Since I've had the car for over a year and this condition is recent, I don't think it's due to timing. I hope you're wrong about it being "serious." When we figure it out, I'll report. Thanks.
