Anyone know what this is and what a consumer could use it for?

Seems the other thread in another forum on this is over a year old. Anyone find a product that is sure to work? Seems this slot is very picky on what it will accept.

It's to put a PCMCIA adapter into to play MP3s from your smart cards. I don't know why they didn't just put a smart card slot of some kind in the car instead.

Went to best Buy today and got the SANDISK PC card reader for $7 and ordered a 2GB CF online for $14. Can't say if it works yet!
