Oil change interval/ICE run time/miles

My 2008 FEH FWD owner's manual suggests 5,000 mile oil change intervals. My dealer has me on a 3,000 mile interval. Discussion with the technician suggested I could go longer depening on how many hours I ran the ICE. I run about 80% highway/20% city mileage wise, but do go into EV mode on higways during congested traffic at times. I am thinking maybe around 4,000 miles is a good interval considering my highway/city mix. Would appreciate hearing from others on oil change intervals.

they say, you can change oil for three months or 3,000 miles, but for me 5,000-mile interval is more realistic.
