I LIKE my Civic hybrid

I have a '04 with 112K & I just got back from a 2785mi trip with a 50mpg ave. That includes 500 miles driving in the Phoenix rat race.
I have issues with Honda: 1) Why doesn't Honda advertise the hybrids like Toyota does? 2) I'd prob'ly buy a '07 if there was a standard trans available. I think, with my 5sp hybrid, I get better milage than the CVT. Plus I just like to drive it.
Reading some of the other posts, I should add that I drive at hiway speeds, keep my tire pressure around 35psi, use the cruise control. I pretty much drive it like a "normal" car.
When I 1st bought the car, I lived in IL where the speed limit is 55 on 2 lanes. Just to see what it would do, I drive it "carefully" & got close to 60mpg ave @ 55mph with cruise with one tank of gas. Oh, by the way, I paid $19,000 for it "out-the-door" in Cape Gerardeau, MO Honda Dealer, which was a couple of thousand less than the Prius, plus I didn't have to stand in line "6 to 8 months", plus I like my Civic better than the Prius.
