Hybrid now part of Formula One

It looks like hybrids are going to be permitted in Formula One racing. See:

This should lend great credibility to the hybrid concept. Hopefully, we'll soon see some hybrid uptake in Europe and maybe it will encourage the American and Japanese car companies to speed up the inclusion of hybrid drivetrains into all their vehicles.
