hybrid convertible

I'd also like to buy a hybrid convertible. Maybe if enough of us keep asking, the manufacturers will listen. I've been delaying replacing my 1993 Toyota Celica convertible because I'm waiting to hear if a hybrid will be designed this year.

I have a Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder and would love to get a hybrid once I replace it, but I ONLY want a convertible. I can't understand why it is such a big deal to make them. There is CLEARLY a market for them, especially in California where there are MANY hybrid drivers AND many convertible drivers. Come on manufacturers... get on the band wagon and start listening to the CONSUMERS! The first one to make it will surely get ALL the business! To me that's a great business decision!
